Service
We begin with the real needs of people and communities.
CrossTech.org is a nonprofit ministry using information technology to serve individuals, nonprofits, community organizations, ministries, and others who need skilled and compassionate support.
We believe technology should support people—not overwhelm, exclude, or distract them. Our work brings together professionals, developing technicians, volunteers, partners, and supporters who want to use their abilities for the good of others.
Our Christian faith is the reason we serve with generosity and humility. It is never a boundary around who may receive help.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace.”
1 Peter 4:10
We begin with the real needs of people and communities.
We use time, resources, knowledge, and technology responsibly.
We are honest about risks, costs, capabilities, and tradeoffs.
We pursue professional, dependable work that people can trust.
We design for safety, inclusion, clarity, and sustainable use.
We serve with patience, kindness, dignity, and respect.
Professionals, volunteers, learners, partners, and supporters can all help technology become an instrument of service.
